Coordinate hashing, Song rendering, and production export happen in the browser. Everybeep has no account system or advertising SDK and excludes phrases, addresses, recipes, and Library contents from optional analytics.
Local creative data
Saved Songs, Recent listens, export receipts, local phrase labels when available, pending ratings, and a random browser token are stored on the device. Clearing site storage removes them.
Address-only sharing
A copied Song URL contains only its Base62 address. It does not contain the phrase that located the Song.
Aggregate community signals
Qualified play counts and votes receive the Song identity, address, and a random browser token whose SHA-256 hash is stored. Raw IP addresses, precise locations, and Library contents are not written to the community database.
Consent-based analytics
Google Analytics loads only after permission. Query strings and fragments are removed, and events exclude phrases, exact addresses, recipes, and listening history. Google signals and ad personalization are disabled.
